Rebeca hopes to work in hospice care with older adults, offering a safe space as client face one of the most challenging stages of life. Outside of her studies Rebeca enjoys snowboarding and volunteers on various committees throughout the Hayes School of Music and as a national student representative for the American Music Therapy Association Students.

Bio: Kyla Borro is originally from Longwood, Florida, but has bounced up and down the east coast, finally landing in Apex and now Boone, North Carolina! She has always had a passion and drive for teaching, knowing it is what she would do since kindergarten, but finally found her place when she entered the world of choir and band. Kyla hopes to share the joy of music with her students in the coming years as her teachers have done for her and eventually aspires to be a female director in Drum Corps International!
